I bought a holiday/rental apartment on Florida’s gulf coast with the help of Tom and Lisa in Summer 2007. They showed me a great selection of apartments which really matched what I’d asked for in terms of location, style and, most importantly, budget. As well as arranging the viewings and showing me round, they gave great advice on the pros and cons of the various apartment complexes, and were very patient in explaining the differences in the US property buying process (as I’m from the UK there are quite a few). When it came to making an offer, they advised me how low I could go without offending the vendor (or seller as they call them over there), and then drew up the contract:. One of the biggest differences between the UK/US property markets is that the ‘realtors’ (estate agents) handle most of the legal work, which made the whole thing a lot smoother than buying in the UK. Once the offer was agreed, they talked me through the rest of the process, assuring me they would handle everything and keep me informed when I was back in the UK, which they did with almost daily emails. I’d certainly recommend Tom & Lisa to anyone looking to buy a holiday home in their part of Florida. They not only give a great service, but they’re also a really nice couple; in fact we now meet up for dinner when we go over there! If you’ve got any more questions, I’m happy to help if I can. When I moved across the state I needed a reliable Realtor - someone who would work in my absence to sell my condominium. With the terribly slow market it looked like I was in for the long hall but it sold within 4 months of listing with Tom and Lisa. I don't know what I would have done without them. We called in a bit of a panic to buy
a property to complete a 1031 Exchange with a deadline to close only 6 days
away. If we didn't close on a purchase by then we'd have been socked with a
hefty capital gains tax. You guys were quick to e-mail property details on a
bunch of condos that might work for us.

Recently Bob Lakins and I had the wonderful experience of working with Tom and Lisa in the purchase of a condo in Belleair Beach, FL.
